CO2 Fractionated Laser is the gold standard for all skin resurfacing lasers. Instead of removing the entire top layer of skin (like the old laser and most chemical peels) the fractionated laser removes only a fraction of the skin. Usually from about 15% to 20% of the skin is removed which produces better results along with quicker healing time. Dr. Alessi also recommends doing the fractionated CO2 laser along with stem cells either PRP or injecting nano fat for even better results which also creates faster healing time.
